We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Switchgear Drawings Take-Off Specialist to join our team. This role involves reviewing, extracting, and analyzing electrical and switchgear drawings for the preparation of material take-offs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret electrical drawings and switchgear schematics, including one-line diagrams, layout plans, and detailed component specifications.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate material take-offs from electrical drawings, ensuring all components (switchgear, transformers, cables, breakers, relays, etc.) are accurately quantified for procurement and project estimation in line with industry standards.
  • Utilize ABB Empower and Schneider Electric’s SE ADVANTAGE systems for material take-offs and estimation processes.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and engineering departments to ensure electrical components are aligned with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of material take-offs, conduct quality control checks, and provide status reports to ensure error-free procurement and installation.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in material take-offs related to electrical and switchgear drawings. Hands-on experience with ABB Empower and Schneider Electric SE ADVANTAGE systems is highly preferred.
  • Possess expertise in electrical and switchgear design, specifications, and component identification, with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings, including layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Candidates must be Panamanian citizens or hold a valid work permit for employment in Panama
