The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly company financial reporting for the CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and private equity ownership.
• Complete weekly vendor payments and Daily Sales Flash report.
• Ownership of monthly finance/accounting duties for a specific brand under the company’s umbrella.
• Assist with detailed development of the total company annual financial plan, strategic plan, and latest forecast.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, reporting effectiveness (meaningful and impactful data analytics), and process efficiency.
• Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), analyzing variances and their impact on profitability.
• Weekly Vendor Payments.

Requisitos

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related degree.
• A power user in Excel, with the ability to build complex models, dashboards, and reports from scratch.
• Full working knowledge of P&Ls, balance sheet, cash flow financial statements interactions, and understanding of COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and its role in financial analysis and profitability reporting.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in English.
• Candidates must be Panamanian citizens or hold a valid work permit for employment in Panama
